The left in government is very much like the Wizard of Oz. Remember when the little dog Toto pulled back the curtain, exposing the old guy who was behind all the lights, smoke, and mirrors?
Dorothy reprimanded him, "You're a very bad man!"
But the Wiz defended himself, saying, "Oh, no, my dear - I'm a very good man. I'm just a very bad Wizard."
In a nutshell, that's the problem with leftists in government. They may be very good people with the very best of intentions, but they are very bad Wizards.
Our Founders understood this very well, which is why they created a system of limited federal authority with multiple checks and balances.

I must put myself on the record and disagree. I believe the leftists in governement are indeed bad people. I probably would have accepted the above statement 20 years ago but leftists of today, no way.
