Unbelievable that in today's business climate a man could rise so high in management with such a lack of interpersonal skills.
Just plain rude, almost as bad as slapping him in the face, or asking, "Is your Mom a Democrat?"

That is a very strange question to ask someone. Their are only two remotely justification 1) The results of a background check. One could conceive someone using such knowledge to gain leverage or blackmail a player. 2) He want to provoke a reaction to verify they player was not a hot had, Without such context one has wonder how much of a lability the team wants keep this guy on board as a GM.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around why it was a question that was asked at all.
What business is it of his? Seriously...
I'm not saying that if someone asked me that question in a job interview that only one person would have walked out of that room unassisted but I can assure you they would have needed medical attention.
