Brad Thor at BigGovernment is saying yes:
According to the State Department's Rewards for Justice Program there is a bounty of up to $10 million on Omar for sheltering Osama bin-Laden and his al-Qaeda network in the years prior to the September 11 attacks as well as the period during and immediately thereafter. At the end of March, US Military Intelligence was informed by US operatives working in the Af/Pak theater on behalf of the D.O.D. that Omar had been detained by Pakistani authorities. One would assume that this would be passed up the chain and that the Secretary of Defense would have been alerted immediately. From what I am hearing, that may not have been the case.
When this explosive information was quietly confirmed to United States Intelligence ten days ago by Pakistani authorities, it appeared to take the Defense Department by surprise. No one, though, is going to be more surprised than Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. It seems even with confirmation from the Pakistanis themselves, she was never brought up to speed.
Over the weekend, Clinton accused Pakistani Government officials of "holding back" on bin Laden intelligence. In an interview Sunday on CBS "60 Minutes," she said:
"I believe that somewhere in this government are people who know where Usama bin Laden and Al Qaeda is, where Mullah Omar and the leadership of the Afghan Taliban is, and we expect more cooperation to help us bring to justice, capture or kill those who attacked us on 9/11."
They know all right and so do we, at least when it comes to Mullah Omar. We have known since the end of March and we had it confirmed ten days ago by the Pakistanis. So why didn't the State Department and the CIA know?
Developing.
Let's hope it's true... let's hope he's divulging the whereabouts of Osama Bin Laden... let's hope the Obama Administration doesn't muck this up...

After being Mirandized, then subjected to a thorough working-over with the Soft Cushions and Comfy Chair ... probably not.

This would unfortunately give the obama administration a major victory in the war on terror (a undeserving one)

We're holding Bin Laden in a secret CIA prison ready to be trotted out in case Obama needs a boost in the polls for re-election. If not, Hillary will be the hero and "capture" him shortly before Obama hands her the keys to the White House.

This report was out yesterday, and no confirmation from anywhere, nor are any sources named.
Sorry, but I've heard too many reports out of Pakistan which turned out to be false to give anonymously sourced reports much credence.

How about we waterboard him, squeeze him for everything he's got, then hang him.
We get information, he get's his 72 virgins.
Sounds like a win-win to me. Isn't Barry always about win-win?

Agreed. In fact there has been a case (sorry, I get the names of the Others oh, so confused!) in which it took 3 full weeks for "Yesss!" to turn into "..uhhh...", and another week for a big fat "Nope" to be passed down.
I think the delay was due to CIA/US Army pillow fight best-of-five. (each Champion was obviously in shape)

"We"? Do you have a frog in your pocket or are you talking out of your ass? That's real question. (I'm an amateur psychologist.)

Rusty Shackleford is claiming one of his overseas intel sources has confirmed - http://tinyurl.com/2d3xto9 - but his source is also anonymous, so for all we know it could be the same guy who gave the story to Thor in the first place.
I respect Dr. Rusty a lot, but to me this isn't enough "confirmation."
