It's a wonder our soon to be Supreme Court Justice didn't suffer a fan fainting episode in this video, via Morgen at Verum Serum, that dates back to 2005:
I think we now know why she was nominated... she seems to love him nearly as much as he loves himself.

There's not been anything shown that Kagan and Obama are "old buddies" in any real sense of the world -- but fear not. Except the fact that Obama has nominated for the SCOTUS a person with no experience as a judge, essentially no experience in law practice, with questionable views on the Bill of Rights (things like the Rights conferred by the First and Second Amendments), and whose earlier nomination to the Court of Appeals failed. In other words, someone utterly unqualified to take on a DUI or debt collection case, let alone sit on the SCOTUS. Either they are buddies or Kagan gave Obama a large campaign contribution.
