While his motives are as yet unknown, there's a good chance this fellow was upset over the health care bill.
World Cup bomb plot detailed by al-Qaeda suspectThat's what he's saying now, but we should withhold judgment until it's clear there's no evidence of mortgage foreclosure or anti-Obama sentiment nestled somewhere in his past. It's what Eric Holder would want us to do.An alleged al-Qaeda militant detained in Iraq has given details about a plan he had to attack the World Cup in South Africa next month.
The Saudi man, Abdullah Azam Saleh al-Qahtani, told reporters he had suggested an attack on the Dutch and Danish teams in revenge for cartoons drawn of the Prophet Muhammad.

Atty Gen. Eric Holder stated, "Early reports indicate that it may have been the lack of a Government Option in Obamacare which might have possibly been one of the several types of things that could have maybe motivated someone to engage in this type of behavior; but I'm just basing this on what I overheard in the men's bathroom."

jimx is quite pleased with himself, isn't he? I drive past that mosque everyday to and from work and each day I listen to the local morning and afternoon news to and from work. There have been no new developments reported on this since it happened. No one knows who did it or why. It hasn't stopped CAIR from screaming bloody murder at every news organization under the sun for not headlining it even though there's nothing to report. We'll know soon enough if they catch someone.
Is it possibly a "hate crime"? Yeah. There's some pretty heated debate going on right now because the Mayor has nominated the ex-chairman of CAIR, Pervez Achmed, to the local Human Rights Council. For those of you who don't know, Mr. Achmed has defended Hamas and Hizballah in the past. And even the mayor (for whom I voted for his first term, but not his second) has added fuel to the fire intimating that those opposed to the nomination are racist by invoking the internment of the Japanese and 1960's lynchings. Putz.
I wouldn't be surprised if someone did it to be hateful, but I also wouldn't be surprised if it was a stunt by one of their own to draw attention to them.
We'll see.
