Really, Lee. Maybe you didn't notice that Obama can put more resource into Afghanistan because Bush (remember him) went ahead and won Iraq when Obama and Reid told him he couldn't do it. You may also remember that Obama spent a long time dithering over what to do in Afghanistan before he finally half halfheartedly committed substantially fewer troops than requested.

They've structured their internal ideology around believing that the countries we're in conflict with and the people who are against us have perfectly valid and justifiable reasons, which can be resolved peacefully through a mix of appeasment and abasement on our part.
