... and it only took him two months, one week and three days to do it:
The United States is accepting help from 12 countries and international organizations in dealing with the massive oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.
The State Department said in a statement Tuesday that the U.S. is working out the particulars of the help that's been accepted.
The identities of all 12 countries and international organizations were not immediately announced. One country was cited in the State Department statement -- Japan, which is providing two high-speed skimmers and fire containment boom.
More than 30 countries and international organizations have offered to help with the spill. The State Department hasn't indicated why some offers have been accepted and others have not.
You'd think that accepting assistance would be a skill gleaned from all those years of community organizing.
You'd be wrong.

Pelosi probably told him to do this or else. Obama wouldn't have waited this long if he was capable of rational, independent thought.

Well now we know how long it takes Barry to make a decision when he focuses "laser-like" on a problem.
Our wonderful EPA has also been on the cutting edge of getting in the way of any meaningful accomplishments as well.

And I bet it will be the end of July before any assistance actually begins.
When it does, it will be shut down by one of any Comrade Hussein's acronym bureaucracy for some idiotic reason like life jackets being the wrong shade of orange or a skimmer dumping its holding tank (toilet) at sea.
Either way, it won't make much of a difference. The oil is make its way on shore and in the wetlands right on schedule according to Barry's "never let a crisis go to waste" plans.

Well that's just it isn't it? Barry's experience is entirely on how to stop things from happening, how to delay and postpone action as long as possible. We have missed that he is simply employing his life experience to his presidency. The only thing he knows is how to organize people to create stasis.

I keep praying that no terrorism or further other crisis occurs. I dont trust Obama to do his job -- it is obvious that he will not be there for the US citizens when we need him the most. We the People will prevail and continue to assist each other despite this embarassing administration.

I would really love for someone to post an article or some authoritative information on this issue. On June 23rd, Factcheck.org (I know, I know, but I just happened to have followed a link there on another issue) had the following Q & A:
Q: Did Obama turn down foreign offers of assistance in cleaning up the Gulf oil spill? Did he refuse to waive Jones Act restrictions on foreign-flag vessels?
A: No to both questions. So far, five offers have been accepted and only one offer has been rejected. Fifteen foreign-flag vessels are working on the cleanup, and none required a waiver.
There is of course a very detailed full answer too big to reprint here, but someone's not telling the truth here. Anyone have any further information???
