This morning, the former Commander Guy turned up at DFW Airport to surprise about 150 troops returning from Iraq and Afghanistan. They definitely looked surprised. And naturally, there were photos.

Everything about President Bush says and said, what you see is what you get, what you hear is what I said. We knew where the government stood, that made our lives easier, and knowable. From a citizens point of view, a busy person didn't have to spend precious time guessing, "what next?"

Even after all these years, Ray still hasn't gotten the memo. The "fake turkey" was real. The "fake turkey story" was a liberal lie, repeated over and over by the dishonest media. I wonder if Journolist had a hand in that one, along with all of their other lies and back room news manipulation?

Ya, I hated the out of control spending that now looks miserly in comparison but you have to admit, W certainly was not fake or pretentious. The man was genuine, open and honest, everything the current (P)resident is not.
