Also, following the link about the Gold Star mom, it's hard to tell if those words are a direct quote or simply something she inferred from the actions of the Code Pink people.

When the mom says "they taunted me and told me..." I give credence to her words. Mostly because I have seen the Code Pink-sters yelling "Baby killer!" at the VFW counter protesters in my town.

Why, certainly it's because the Democrats universally support free speech, as guaranteed in the Bill of Rights. Just think of how supportive Democrats have been of the concept that all interested parties should have a voice in the Ground Zero Mosque issue.

For longer than most can remember, the Democratic party has given almost free reign to the anti-war groups, including the extreme fringe (for most of us) of Code Pink.

They have also embraced the "free spirits" of the arts community - actors, directors, writers, etc.

This probably will not change. I look back to the adoration shown to Jane Fonda with the same groups of adoring dems that we see with the Code Pink protesters. (I would imagine they secretly adore the Westboro Baptist group, too, but can't admit it because those people claim to be Christian).

The general coarsening of our culture has been driven and perpetuated by the likes of Roman Polansky, Phil Spectre and Rosie O'Donnell. These drug abusing musicians, self-adoring actors, "enlightened" artists - all those who think the world, the rules or even the consequences will never touch them are mainstream in the democratic party.

These people, driven by feelings, cannot logically look at a problem. They cannot see the need for a stiff backbone and rules.

Thank goodness people are finally starting to pay attention.

Once more, I just wish the Dems would take their "support" for our military and SHOVE IT til they CHOKE on it.

Dane, if you were referring to my comment at #25, I admit it was changing the topic a bit. I wanted to highlight the hypocrisy of of a troll who can't see any reason to accept the word of a Gold Star mom but willingly accepts the words of a democrat whose ugly racial charge is completely unsupported.

If I were on a jury trying some person for knocking the hell out of a flag burner, spit on the troops asshat, someone calling out baby killer, or any of these low life, scum bags we seem to have so many of MY VOTE WOULD BE NOT GUILTY!
