Well, Code Pink is at it again. The far-leftist whackjobs (but I repeat myself) encountered a woman whose son was killed in Afghanistan. And their words of comfort to this Gold Star Mother? "Your son deserved to die in Iraq if he was stupid enough to go over there."
Plenty of other people have spent plenty of energy denouncing these scum, these spiritual kin to the Westboro Baptist/Phelps family vermin. I don't particularly feel the need to add on.
Instead, I want to take a stroll through Code Pink's history, touching on select incidents.
January 2005: Several Code Pink protesters, with passes provided them by Democratic members of Congress, disrupt President Bush's State of the Union Address.
January 2006: Cindy Sheehan, who had joined forces with Code Pink, is given a pass to President Bush's State Of The Union address by Representative Lynn Woolsey (D-CA). Sheehan is removed when she unfurls an anti-Bush banner, shouting, and otherwise disrupting the event. (Woolsey is also believed to have supplied passes the previous year as well.)
September 2007: Code Pink protesters interrupt and disrupt Congressional hearings on confirming General Petraeus as the new commander in Iraq.
October, 2007: Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is on Capitol Hill to testify before Congress about the status of the Israel-Palestine conflict. She is assaulted by a Code Pink activist, who had been allowed into the hearing room by the Democrats who controlled Congress.
December 2009: Code Pink delivers two-thirds of a billion million dollars in cash and other aid to the terrorists of Fallujah, carrying letters of support from Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA), Congressman Henry Waxman (D-CA), and others.
October 2009: President Obama literally embraces Code Pink co-founder Jodie Evans.
That Code Pink is a despicable, loathsome, group is not really up for debate. What should be discussed is how they have been empowered, enabled, assisted, and embraced by the Democratic Party on numerous occasions.
Don't bother asking Code Pink to stop being attention whores and scumbags. Instead, ask Democrats why they keep helping them.
(Typo fixed. Million, not billion.)

I followed your link, the figure is $600,000. which is two thirds of a million dollars, not a billion.

"Don't bother asking Code Pink to stop being attention whores and scumbags. Instead, ask Democrats why they keep helping them."
For longer than most can remember, the Democratic party has given almost free reign to the anti-war groups, including the extreme fringe (for most of us) of Code Pink.
They have also embraced the "free spirits" of the arts community - actors, directors, writers, etc.
This probably will not change. I look back to the adoration shown to Jane Fonda with the same groups of adoring dems that we see with the Code Pink protesters. (I would imagine they secretly adore the Westboro Baptist group, too, but can't admit it because those people claim to be Christian).
The general coarsening of our culture has been driven and perpetuated by the likes of Roman Polansky, Phil Spectre and Rosie O'Donnell. These drug abusing musicians, self-adoring actors, "enlightened" artists - all those who think the world, the rules or even the consequences will never touch them are mainstream in the democratic party.
These people, driven by feelings, cannot logically look at a problem. They cannot see the need for a stiff backbone and rules.
Thank goodness people are finally starting to pay attention.
