Weekend Caption Contest™ Winners (Wizbang)

This week's Weekend Caption Contest™ was a little different than the normal fare. Still there were many strong captions. The assignment this week was to caption the following picture:

Seven-and-a-half-month old Tanisha Overbeeke smiles while resting on top of a leaf of the Victoria Amazonica at the Rotterdam Blijdorp Zoo September 1, 2010. Children could be photographed on top of the leaf, under the condition that they do not weigh more than 15 kg (33 lbs). The Victoria Amazonica blossoms over two nights producing flowers that are white on the first night, which then turn pinkish-red by the second night. Here are the winning entries:

2) (fustian) - "Apparently, John Edwards is dating again..."

3) (Michael Hamm) - "Recession hits Disney hard. Tinkerbell forced into doing porn for money."

4) (Rodney Dill) - "Al Sharpton immediately called a press conference to disparage this racist picture."

5) (Faith+1) - "Andrew Sullivan suspects this baby is really Sarah Palin's."

6) (Jeff Blogworthy) - Left: "Damn! Another failed abortion!"

The Readers Choice Award this week went to retired military's winning entry. In its place we honor one more tastelessly excellent caption:

(Joe Miller) - "Come right this way, Mr. Polanski."
