"Very spiritual" and "good person" shoots 3 at Philly plant (Wizbang)

2 dead,1 in critical condition:

"She's not a loose cannon. She's a hard worker, works very hard. She's very spiritual."
Kenneth Dorsey says the woman accused of killing two co-workers and critically injuring a third at the Kraft plant in Northeast Philly is a good person. And so were the two women she's accused of gunning down with a .357 Magnum, just minutes after she'd been suspended and escorted from the building.
Dorsey's been at the plant for 37 years and worked on the third floor with the three victims and the alleged shooter, Yvonne Hiller.
"They had argued, from what I was told, they argued," Dorsey told NBC10's Rosemary Connors after the shootings Thursday night.
"I had just started my job, you know and I heard like bang, bang, but you hear noises everyday at a bakery so you don't pay any mind." Then a co-worker yelled, "Come on, you got to leave now! She's shooting."
After the shootings, Hiller holed up in an office on the second floor where the SWAT team found her after co-workers who were hiding in the office next door tipped off building security.
"I never thought in my deepest heart that it would come down to this," Dorsey said.

For all the "sophistication" and "knowledge" society now allegedly possesses, we still cannot predict with any accuracy who will go off the deep end, much less why.

Several years ago a guy shot and killed two police officers over a dispute with his neighbor about a rose bush. On another occasion, two old farts got into a fist fight over a property line dispute. One died of a heart attack during the fight. All they had to do was call the city and they'd have sent out a surveyor (one time only) free of charge.

Too bad people like this just don't off themselves and leave everyone else alone. Having been a supervisor, I've had occasion where some worker came to me because 'they're having problems with other workers'. You talk to them at length and it turns out everyone else gets along. The person with "the problem" is the one doing all the complaining. And they don't like it when you point out that they're the one "with the problem".

Statistically, every once in awhile a Muslim, Jew, or Hindu will flip out and shoot up things, amongst all the Christians who flip out. It means nothing.

If you want to assign significance to this nut's religion, why not make the religion of 99% of the murderers in this country significant?

The question is; is violence an acceptable outlet approved and sanctioned by one's religion or is such against one's religion.

On the other hand -this wasn't jihad, she may have just been a looney -we can't blame her religion for that.

I've me quite a few Muslims over the years, and one thing has struck me as curious: American Muslim converts are angry people. And based on a few I knew before the became Friends of Mo, they were angry before conversion.
Many of the cradle Muslims I know are pretty gentle on the other hand. Most of them are from overseas and are in the states doing tech work. They don't like to associate with the convert crowd much.
