This isn't getting much play in the MSM... I wonder why that might be:
In a scathing criticism of the Obama administration, Home Depot co-founder Bernie Marcus told CNBC Friday that Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner should have a reality-TV show about small business to illustrate how out of touch Democrats' policies are with the private sector.
"My solution is that you take a guy like Timothy Geithner and put him in a new reality show. It's called 'Timothy Geithner Does Small Business', something like [the porn movie] 'Debbie Does Dallas', and it ends up the same way," said Marcus. "Basically, what they're doing to small business is very similar in this case [to what 'Debbie' did to Dallas.]"
And he's just getting warmed up. The guy uses biting humor and facts to skewer Obama and his economic team. And he offers some guidance and advice that ought to be heeded. Here's the video of the piece... it's interesting viewing, most interesting:

Mr. Marcus, with all due respect you only "created" 320,000 jobs. Obama has now "saved" 4,000,000 jobs which means Home Depot would have closed without Obama saving those 320,000 jobs! In addition, Obama has also saved the following from closing: Loews, Ace Hardware, Piggly Wiggly, Major League Baseball, The Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity shows, Citizens for Jan Brewer and La Raza.
Mr. Marcus you clearly don't understand numbers! You should go back to public school!

And I thought CNBC was PART of the "MSM." Silly me.
Maybe it's not getting much play on the other MSM outlets because the guy had nothing new to say, no fresh insights, just the same old litany of complaints you'd expect from a former CEO. Bitching about "every day there's a new regulation" - who hasn't heard that for the last 30 years?
The video was of an old coot, er, um, I mean "elder statesman," telling us anecdotes about "guys I hang out with." Guys who tell him horror stories, but he doesn't tell us who they are. For all we know he made up every story he shared with us.
I get the "biting humor," such as it was, but where are the "facts" he used to "skewer" Obama? Sounded like another rich guy bitching about taxes and regulations to me. He made a fortune in the real world despite there being "new regulations every day." Sounds like he's done nothing since retirement but soak up FOX "News" and Rush Limbaugh talking points, and despised MSM outlet CNBC gave him a forum to spew 'em back out.
Yeah, boy, a real eye-opener.

I just learned something interesting via Thomas DiLorenzo. Printing phony money began in colonial Massachusetts (what a shock). We haven't learned much since:
"Paper and printing were invented in China, but American politicians were the first to use government paper money. It was adopted by the colonial government of Massachusetts in 1690. As Murray N. Rothbard wrote, the Massachusetts government was "accustomed to launching plunder expeditions against the prosperous French colony in Quebec." The loot was typically used to pay mercenary soldiers, but when one of the expeditions failed and the soldiers threatened mutiny, the Massachusetts government printed 7,000 British pounds in paper notes to pay them. The government promised to redeem the paper money in gold or silver, but took 40 years to do so. Meanwhile, the public was so suspicious of the notes that they depreciated by 40 percent in the first year."

So typical of a Liberal, to defame the individual talking and hide behind the Democratic talking points.

Rick said the guy used "biting humor and facts to skewer Obama." I asked, what facts? Anecdotes, I heard. Facts? Not so much.
But what's really amusing is that Rick claims this interview isn't "getting much play on the MSM" and wonders, conspiratorially, why that is, when it's on freaking CNBC!!! CNBC gives this old fart 16 uninterrupted minutes but it's still part of the Vast Libislamunistofascist Conspiracy.
In case you hadn't heard, CNBC is owned by the same people who own MSNBC and NBC. The N, B, and C in the names should have given you a clue.

The "old coots" who tell anecdotes while running a business are still the mainstays of American prosperity. The funny thing is, his anecdotes are probably true. I will put my trust in Mr Marcus rather than a young, well-spoken, "clean" man who occupies the White House who tells a lie every time his lips move.

You'll have to forgive bruce henry and his ilk.
You see, they believe government is the answer to each and every problem every human being has (as long as that government is run by leftists.)
Bernie Marcus created 300,000 private sector jobs.
300,000!
This is why brucie and his pals hate Bernie Marcus.
obambi and sheriff joe have broken the bank, loaded us up with 8 trillion more in debt for no real economic gains (just huge payouts to their lefty pals (like giving control of 2 private enterprise automobile companies to their union thug friends)).
It was just this last week that Los Angeles County reported that they had spent $110,000,000.00 for just 56 jobs.
56!
Now thats whay brucie and his "short-bus" pals call a success!
