American and European female activists make a pilgrimage to the Palestinian territories knowing that under sharia law the crime of rape can only be proven by the testimony of as many as four Muslim men. Having reported rape, but without the needed testimony to prove rape, a women is herself guilty of adultery or fornication. Thus, the female activists are grateful to be shown lenience by the practitioners of the Religion of Peace for allowing themselves to be raped without first arranging for the needed witnesses.

Having earned their feminist credentials the women are allowed to return home to the accolades of the self-deluded intellectual elite. It's a win win, or use use arrangement.

I must be confused why would feminst have anything to do with this? It doesn't mention abortion anywhere. Now if the raped woman were to be denied an abortion then you'd have a real travisty.

It is more just the PA, I remember reading a series of articles from older radicals (1960's) talking about how women were treated in the Black Power movement and the Sixties in general (I want to say it was a collection of essays by Dorthy Ledhold (I can not remember the spelling of her name)) and the general consensus was 'exploitive'.
