That from The Anchoress after watching the following video titled No Pressure from a group called 10:10:
They thought this was funny. They thought you might find it funny.
Can there be any more evidence to support the notion that these people are wired differently? I mean, a video they're calling No Pressure aimed at applying serious pressure on anyone who disagrees with them. I can't help but wonder if perhaps they might not consider getting in touch with Osama Bin Laden who could help them make actual snuff films to make their point. Wouldn't that be funny? After all, he too is all about the threat that is global warming.
These people give ecoterrorism a new name.

Some of the comments I've seen have the right idea. For 10:10 (here in central Texas the weather forecast is for a high of 82°- perfect weather for outside) it would be a great day to have a barbeque using lots of brickets using some good ol' Gulf lite and cooking some extra thick steaks. Then that evening light up the tiki-torches and have a backyard party with lots of lights and extra-long extension cords for putting several TVs outside. Oh, yeah. Don't forget the long Sunday afternoon drive.
We could call it - The people's 10:10 - Because we damn well (still) can.

This isn't about the British, it's about the radical environmentalist left.
This is the result of years of Al Gore declaring how AGW 'deniers' are like holocaust deniers. The radical left believes that they are right on this issue and that anyone who disagrees with them actually deserves to be murdered.
This is about normalizing the murder of people who have different political beliefs (ie non-leftist)
Every once in a while the mask slips and the left lets the rest of us see what they really think of us and what they really want to do to us if they get the opportunity.
The only good thing I see is that there are some libs who are not so wacko that they see how scary this is.

I think I'll start to consider what the "celebrities" tell us regarding global warming when they start reforming their own lives by the standards they wish to impose on the rest of us. How many times have we seen the elitists condescend to "teach" the rest of us about all the dangers while flying all over the world? How about moving around in fleets of SUV's after flying anywhere and everywhere in private jets? Why do they hold their UN global warming conferences in exotic vacation locales that require massive carbon emissions to attend?
On another note, nobody should take these people lightly. If there is one thing that we know, the extremists on the left take to violence very easily and with the tacit approval of the leftists in power. Does anyone need to be reminded of the Unabomber, Earth First, or the SEIU? If you don't believe that the left is fully capable of using just the kind of violence represented in that video, you have been ignoring the news for the past 50 years.

So, you're saying that you're not really opposed to the basic method of this ad campaign, you just don't disagree with the primary political message? Interesting, Tex.
Also, are you saying that you think colleges can be places of learning only if they teach what caters to your political persuasions? Just wondering if your definition of "learning" is just indoctrination of another type, or if you're arguing that you think colleges should teach about a variety of histories, political perspectives, and ways of looking at the world.
