The BlazeSay what you want about Michael Bloomberg - he's a nanny-statist with his trans-fat and salt bans - but he's no slouch when it comes to running a business (he's a billionaire after all), and he knows how economies work. You can't say the same about Barack Obama. His greatest achievement before he entered politics as an Illinois state senator was as a community organizer when he sued Citibank under the Community Reinvestment Act because the bank would not give homes loans to people who couldn't afford to pay them back.
So when Michael Bloomberg talked to Barack Obama about the economy, you'd think Obama would listen to what Bloomberg had to say and then thank him for taking the time.
You'd be wrong. From Jake Tapper:
The pool report at the time said that "We are told Bloomberg and Obama talked in the clubhouse for about 15 mins about the economy. They then went to the driving range."Apparently - at least from a second-hand report - the Obama-Bloomberg convo could have gone better.
In an interview with The Australian Financial Review, conservative media magnate Rupert Murdoch says ''Bloomberg said it was a pleasant day. In conversation he put a few ideas ... He said it was like verbal ping pong."
Bloomberg, according to Murdoch, "came back and said 'I never met in my life such an arrogant man'."
A spokesman for Bloomberg did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Murdoch - the Australian-born founder, chairman, and chief executive officer of News Corporation, which owns conservative media outlets ranging from Fox News Channel to the New York Post - is described by The Age as saying in the interview that President Obama "might make great speeches but doesn't get things done and doesn't listen to anybody."
What would a community organizer know about solving the world's largest and most complex economy's problems? Not a thing, yet he plays verbal ping pong about the economy with a man who created billions of dollars of wealth? Arrogance doesn't even begin to describe Barack Obama.

It couldn't be possible that Rupert Murdoch was trying to screw both Mike Bloomberg (a media competitor and a political opponent) and Obama (Fox's and the New York Post's enemy No. 1) by putting words in Bloomberg's mouth, could it?
Objection, hearsay. Sustained.

Obama is nothing but a glib, jive-talking street hustler with a narcissistic complex. He never accomplished or earned anything in his worthless life - it was all handed to him.
He's not even particularly bright - which is why he refused to release his college transcripts. The bar hadn't been set too high - Bush, Gore, and Kerry were all "C" students as undergrads, but apparently Obama was all coked up with his "mentor" (Marxist pederast Frank Marshall Davis) and didn't even do that well. Which might explain why none of his classmates and only one professor remembers him at Columbia.
We know for a fact his admission to Harvard Law was an Affirmative Action deal - even though his transcripts are a state secret, it would take at least a degree with honors, and those lists are public and Obama isn't on them.
Do you know how he got elected Editor of Law Review? There were so many candidates, dozens, that it went through 53 ballots with no one able to muster a majority. Along the way everyone got mad at everyone else, and so the last man standing was the quiet guy in the corner who had said nothing the whole time. You know his name already - Barry Sotero. Or something like that.
If the Democrats and the media had properly vetted this stealth candidate, we would have known all this before he was even nominated. And maybe a guy who hadn't even built a decent record for reelection to the Senate wouldn't have breezed to the White House.
Oh, well - live and learn, eh? Just remember the old Who song, and make sure we won't get fooled again, mmmkay?

Jim Addison, I think you are cracking up! belitting his academic success (is that all you have)! Hillary didn't pass her bar exams in DC.,that is why she went to Arkansas with Bill. George Bush jr. was a legacy student at Yale (he got in because of his Dad) than the same thing at the Harvard Business School and so, so what! I suppose you are going to blame Obam because he ewas practically raised as a orphan.
Maybe Obama had a less than illustrious academic record-though Columbia is not such a bad university. Obama who got into Harvard partly because of affirmative action, then graduated from Harvard University's law school, magna cum laude - with great honours, then he was an excellent professor at University Of Chicago for ten years.. But back back to the subject at hand. Bloomberg and Murdoch are long time friends or allies.
Bloomberg may or may not have said that- He probably did -but even as billionaire, Bloomberg wants to humor the powerful Murdoch who has a vendetta against Obama. Bloomberg is certainly not going to say that Obama is a saint. He wants to ingratiate himself with Murdoch as every conservative poster would on this blog. No one but a troll is going to say a favorable word about Obama how long would tey be welcomed here!

Obama, as ODA315 points out, was a lecturer for 14 years, I think. How many other non-tenured law lecturers in America have kept their positions without ever publishing a single scholarly article?
He's as dumb as a rock. He's basically Sean Penn: an actor who recites his lines if he can remember them or read them, but is exposed as dull as soon as he goes off script. Except Penn can fake emotions, Obama hasn't figured out there even ARE emotions besides self-love.

You better inform the University of Chicacago Law school that Obama wasn't a professor there in the usual acepted parlance. He was not a adjunct lecturer as you try to 'dis' him, but a senior lecturer which entitled him to be called professor. I suggest you call the University of Chicago School "F... idiots" as well, when you inform them that they are wrong.
"Other priorities", Dick Cheney sounds like your hero. There is someone who personified arrogance. Obama doesn't hold a candle to him or you.
From the University of Chicago Law School official site: "Senior Lecturers are considered to be members of the Law School faculty and are regarded as professors"
from
From 1992 until his election to the U.S. Senate in 2004, Barack Obama served as a professor in the Law School. He was a Lecturer from 1992 to 1996. He was a Senior Lecturer from 1996 to 2004, during which time he taught three courses per year. Senior Lecturers are considered to be members of the Law School faculty and are regarded as professors, although not full-time or tenure-track. The title of Senior Lecturer is distinct from the title of Lecturer, which signifies adjunct status. Like Obama, each of the Law School's Senior Lecturers has high-demand careers in politics or public service, which prevent full-time teaching. Several times during his 12 years as a professor in the Law School, Obama was invited to join the faculty in a full-time tenure-track position, but he declined.
