Actually... worse... a little tid-bit of info that'll not be seen in your local newspapers and TV news programs:
While the Republican gains in the House and Senate are grabbing the most headlines, the most significant results on Tuesday came in state legislatures where Republicans wiped the floor with Democrats.
Republicans picked up 680 seats in state legislatures, according to the National Conference of State Legislatures -- the most in the modern era. To put that number in perspective: In the 1994 GOP wave, Republicans picked up 472 seats. The previous record was in the post-Watergate election of 1974, when Democrats picked up 628 seats.
Obama... the Democrats' Watergate.
H/T to Wheat & Weeds.

Obama and the 'Progressive' agenda he is the front-man for have become the dogshit that the Democrats have steeped in.
No matter how much the Democrats scrape their shoes on the curb or the grass, everywhere they go the stink will follow them, causing people to crinkle their nose and get away.

2 years ago Carville was crowing that the dems had won a majority for he next 40 years.
Thankfully it was not that long, but even worse for the dems is that the GOP takes over state legislatures across the country in a year that will determine congressional districts for the next decade.
So Barry didn't merely screw up the midterms for the dems but he screwed them for the next ten years. And the best part is that he still doesn't get it. He still thinks that it's the American public that is too stupid to understand his genius.
I'm not as stupid as Carville to predict an extended GOP control of the House. They are plenty capable of being the same big government, statists that they were under Bush. The GOP have a chance, if they listen to the American public and move toward a smaller, less expensive government, to have a lengthy stay in power. It's all up to them. Unfortunately I expect them to disappoint.

Yeah. We could have lost Florida, Pennsylvania.. oh wait that's contrary to your argument.
Funny how TEA Party detractors want to point out O'Donnell and ignore Rubio. The reason any of the GOP won is because the TEA Party infused the campaign with a lot of energy.
The fact is that if GOP regulars are losing that is a good thing too. Already the DC insiders are saying that they can only reduce the budget by $260B despite the fact that it has gone up by $727B in the last 3 years.
So the Beltway GOP can't see to even cut half of the pork that has gone on in the last 3 years and in the Senate McConnell still won't commit to a moratorium on earmarks.
Again, it isn't just the dems that are the problem, it's the big government GOP who covet their membership in the ruling class as well.

Nah. The GOP will nominate some crazed religious fanatic who thinks the world is 6,000 years old. Maybe your next president will be Christine "Masturbation-is-a-sin" O'Donnell!
