The 'do-gooders' wail about "agri-business", then go to the store and bitch about high prices. They complain about CO2 emissions while turning the air conditioner down. They cry about dependence on "foreign oil", but have no problem stopping drilling in their own country. They demand "green industries", evidently thinking that all the products they use daily are grown on trees and not MANUFACTURED. Then you have the Nanny's who want to dictate everything you do (or don't do). They're never satisfied. It's always for your own good, and "Oh, and one more thing......"

Vile, evil, deadly things those SUVs (the Upset Old Gal is on her third).

First they came for my mercury batteries. So I stockpiled 3 of a particular kind so that I would have enough for 60 years for that camera. Even today, the only battery close to the old one is those Zinc-air pieces of crap, the rest don't work in that camera!
Then they came for my lightbulbs, so I stockpiled 120 of them for the one light fixture that positively will not work with CFLs. And if Mercury was so bad in batteries, then why is it allowed and PREFERED in light bulbs?????

I'd like to thank the idiots in Sacramento for giving me an opportunity to supplant my retirement income.
