What do these companies/unions have in common?

Companies like New England Healthcare, Aegis Insurance, Ruby Tuesday, AMF Bowling Worldwide, Cracker Barrel, Dish Network, CIGNA, Sanderson Plumbing Products Inc., Aetna, Jack in the Box, Captain Elliot's Party Boats, and TriPak?

Or unions like IBEW No. 915, UFCW Allied Trade Health & Welfare Trust, Asbestos Workers Local 53 Welfare Fund, Plumbers & Pipefitters Local 123 Welfare Fund, UFCW Local 227, UFCW Maximus Local 455, Local 25 SEIU, UFCW Local 1262, Transport Workers and Local 802 Musicians Health Fund?

Let's let Jim Hoft tell us:

The Obama Administration recently handed out 111 Obamacare waivers to special US companies... And, they're hiding this from the American public. It takes 6 clicks to find out this information on the government's health care website.

Unfortunately, if you're a small business or you don't have the right connections you can't get a waiver for your company.

That's the new reality under the Obama-Pelosi regime.

So there's 111 more reason to repeal Obamacare.

As if we needed more.

But...but...but....it was going to drive costs DOWN! So ignore those premium increases. And you doctors suck up that 23% cut in reimbursements.

'Cause Nancy and Barry know how to run health care. If you're a small business owner, you are obviously FILTHY RICH. So make a 'small donation' to the DNC and watch that wavier just 'magically' appear. Hey! It worked for GM dealers when Government Motors cut the number of dealerships.

The left.

Impervious to history.

Impervious to truth.

Everything the left believes about economics and the forces that guide human behavior is wrong.

Everything.

Which is why all left-wing governments, if not stopped, inexorably and unavoidably will devolve into an authoritarian state.

This is because when your philosophy is not rooted in reality, you must attempt to control the populace to maintain the facade.

This was not an error. This was intended to force companies into the arms of the government. In order for companies to keep operating they will need to keep coming to the government to get waivers for the restrictive regulations that keep pouring forth from DC. In turn these companies will be forced to 1) enrich government insiders and their friends and 2) comply with additional, extralegal burdens that the government seeks to put on industry that it cannot pass by normal means.

The point is to turn every company, every citizen into a supplicant to the government. SO far they are succeeding.

GASP! DOUBLEY-DOO GLENN BECK GASP!

From this blog 6 weeks ago:

Unless BCS Insurance Group, which provides the medical coverage for McDonald's hourly employees, is granted a waiver by the Department of Health and Human Services, McDonald's may be forced to explore other options, including finding a different insurance provider, changing the benefits it offers, or possibly scrapping medical benefits altogether.

That quote is from the Wizbang post September 30 that bore the Doubley-Doo Glen Beck Gasp creating headline "McDonalds May Be Forced To Drop Hourly Employee Health Benefits"

lol.

Are you morons who don't have a clue on the issues, or just racist bastards who hate so much you can't keep track of your own poo droppings?

What fun!

Hey stan2, have waivers been granted, or not?

If so, why?

Why now?

If obambi-care is so double-chocolately-fudge-with-whipped-cream good, why are waivers even needed?

It's OK Stan. Please continue your conversation with yourself. You libs have this fascinating habit of posing questions and then answering them. I think it's how you avoid getting into uncomfortable discussions with folks outside of your ideologic comfort zone. So, talk amongst yourself.

Stan2, to be "good" at the troll job, you must make your points clearly. Perhaps "googling" evidence that supports your position and providing a link for us.

In your comment #6, you accuse us of not reading a previous post in which it is said that the insurance company for McDonalds will drop coverage without a waiver from Obamacare. We are pointing out that many companies and labor unions are requesting waivers from Obamacare - proof that Obamacare is not a good thing. Is your point that this is old news? Everyone knows Obamacare is bad or is it something else? Please advise.

Well Stan2, we are racists ... (Below threshold)
jim m:

Well Stan2, we are racists by definition of not agreeing with obama on the issues. Is there any other definition for the word racism? I realize that you can find a definition that most dictionaries today would define as archaic that defines racism as hatred or discrimination against another based on their race, but the left has made that definition quite meaningless in common parlance.

And oddly enough your link is exactly to the point. obama's BS law has made it so onerous for companies to provide health benefits that they would rather drop all their employees rather than comply. So his administration is giving every major corporation that asks a waiver. I wonder how much money they are required to give before they get it? I wonder if a company with a history of supporting conservative issues would ever get a waiver?

I suspect that as soon as a company with sufficient financing and public stature get refused that there will be a lawsuit on equal protection grounds. That is if the whole things hasn't been done away with through the courts or by congress first.

"Well Stan2, we are racists by definition of not agreeing with obama on the issues"

Show me where I said that, j.moron - please.

On the one hand you morons argue that waivers are a good thing and that mean ol black man won't let McDonald's Corp have the waiver they deserve - then you racists asses turn right around and argue that mean ol black man is handing out waivers and THAT's a bad thing.

Problem is, jimm, that it clearly isn't the issues driving your hatred of Obama. You are too monumentally stupid to understand the issues.
