Sarah Palin certainly has legions of fans. However, she's very unlikely to be the Republican nominee in 2012. Her Tea Party movement support probably hurts her as well with some big Republican Party donors, making her look somewhat unloyal to the mainstream party's best overall interests. Her support for O'Donnell for example cost the GOP a likely pickup in Delaware. She supports ideology over winning elections, while mainstream Republicans are just the opposite.
Does President Obama think about her? Certainly. But she's not a likely opponent in 2012, regardless.

The amazing thing is that Obama can even read. The unfortunate thing is that no apparatchik ever put anything of substance on the teleprompter, which apparently is the only thing he ever reads.
Teleprompter: "Dumbass, Austrians speak German, not 'Austrian.' There are 50 states. I say again, 50 effing states. Auschwitz was in Poland, which we ('we' being defined either as 'the Americans,' 'the Indosenians,' or 'the Kenyans,' did not liberate.
