These interviews, 'lib media vs con interviewee', are so repetitive with, in this case again, Curic trying to snare her guest. Curic, however, just does not possess the smarts or intellect to even stay at the same level in this conversation with Condaleesa Rice. What's here is a demonstration of true grounding and understanding of topics that the host chose, but has a limited grasp of...the intention being to just set out hurdles in the hope that a gaff of any kind might result. The essence of this format is yet another indication of the long decent of the liberal media to the state that they have reached today. More harmful to public understanding than they are beneficial. Oh!...and Condy Rice gives here a great demonstration of genuine eloquence rather than the media's falsely projected eloquence of Barak Obama, a man who fails even at that, Harvard pedigree or no.

If Condi Rice were to aim for and win the White House in 2012 she would undoubtably be the first black US president, not because she is any more black than the incumbent, but that the lady actually has the qualities that a real president must have. This is one impressive woman.....and boy, does she have elegance to spare. Yep!...i'd go for, say, Rice/Gingrich any day if I were a voter.

Couric is a mediocre broadcast journalist who has nowhere near that amount of influence. You're giving her way too much credit. Rice probably won't go anywhere near the WH because she doesn't want to run. If you listen to her interviews, that comes across quite clear.

Mrs. Rice is one of my all time favorite people in the political world. As was mentioned earlier she has a certain quality. In my opinion she has several and it is hard to separate my favorite from her wisdom, her ability to think calmly and rationally and her obvious ability no call BS BS.

The American people would be well served by her and I would definitely vote for her if she ever chose to run.

Why couldn't she have been the first African American president. Sigh.

If an adult like Ms Rice was in a position of power today maybe she could convince the obstructionist filibuster crew that ratification of the START treaty is a good and necessary thing, not just another partisan beach ball to keep batting around while loose nukes become increasingly at risk.
