I'm surprised that they were able to find their way to the protest site. If the opposition is all this stupid and inarticulate then we have little to worry about.

I'm sure they took a bus driven by a loyal union member.

The more I see and hear, the more I think "just fire 'em"
The kids are clearly better off without them.

1. Their benefits are killing the middle class who pays their salary? who will bail out their pension plans when the municipalities and states go bankrupt.
2. Equality:
Sounds good to me.
A. Pay the prevailing portion of pay for all benefits like the people you work for. Work till your 65 and collect the same % percentage as private sector retires. All your employment should be at will no more guaranties of employment.
They need to work till they are 65 or 70 before retirement.
They also need to take test to move to the next grade 3 attempts and then they are fired.
Listen to this AD running on NY radio. The tone just pissed me off. At once I thought first responded should have unions But you know what when I was in the Navy their was not one and it become clear that duty and honor is inverse to union membership as evidenced by this add.

Seems like they are trying to emulate the Tea Party (and doing a really, really horrible job at it).

I agree with that last teacher. Clearly her students benefitted from her not being around.

The teacher profession has had to draw its members from a morally and socially corrupted society - most of whom voted for the Marxist in chief. Many in society, are hardly minimum role models as mother's and fathers (those who bother to get married and make a committment), and lack the will to assume responsibility for their behavior and their children's behavior (that self-esteem without reason thingy) The result is what you see, and it doesn't start or stop at the teaching profession. We've been liberated, and the cost is terrible.

I like how most of these idiots equate better pay with how well the children are taught. They can say what they want, but it sure as hell is not about the kids, it's about the money. As Allen West said, "Don't try to blow sunshine up my butt and call it warm and fuzzy!"
