2 more injured.
My guess is that the shooter was a deranged Catholic or perhaps a disturbed Jew and certainly not a peaceful Muslim:
A gunman opened fire Wednesday on U.S. servicemembers aboard a bus at the main airport in Frankfurt, Germany, an airport spokesman said.
Two U.S. airmen were killed and two airmen were injured, one seriously, Maj. Beverly Mock, a spokeswoman for U.S. Air Forces in Europe, said.
"What we know is that a man opened fire on a bus with U.S. soldiers which was standing in front of Terminal 2 on Frankfurt airport," said Manfred Fuellhard, spokesman from Frankfurt police.
The wounded were brought to a Frankfurt hospital, but Fuellhard would not identify which hospital.
CNN was reporting that the troops killed and injured are U.S. Air Force airmen from Royal Air Force Lakenheath base in the United Kingdom, emphasizing that the information was preliminary.
Fuellhard said the shooter is believed to be a young man from Kosovo, who had opened fire from inside the bus. He is in custody of airport security forces, Fuellhard said.
Isn't Kosovo a haven for deranged Catholics and disturbed Jews?
UPDATE: An unusual report from ABC News:
A gunman shouting "Allah Akbar" opened fire on a bus carrying U.S. airmen in Frankfurt, Germany, killing two and wounding two others before his gun jammed and he was subdued, officials said.
I think before we jump to any conclusions here, it's important to note that "Allah Akbar" can sound alot like "Our Father" in the heat of the moment... or even "Adonai Eloheinu" as bullets are whizzing by... anyone assuming that this is a Jihadist attack is obviously bigoted and Islamophobic... intolerant and close-minded... and likely a xenophobe to boot.

Technically, this is correct. In reality NATO forces apart from the US are virtually impotent. Most cannot transport themselves outside of their own nation without our assistance. They cannot project any real power outside their own borders with the exception of the UK. I'm at a loss to think of any NATO action where the US was not a major part. I don't think that NATO could sustain any operation (Even one as close as Yugoslavia) without our help.

When the Germans started terminating the mentally feeble and physically impaired, that was also termed a medical procedure and under the guidance of physicians. SO that was OK too, right hyper?
