"a despicable, immoral, and inhuman act"

That from Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on the murder of 5 settlers in the West Bank:

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said Monday that the Itamar terror attack was a despicable, immoral, and inhuman act.

"A human being is not capable of something like that," Abbas said in an interview with Israel Radio on Monday. "Scenes like these - the murder of infants and children and a woman slaughtered - cause any person endowed with humanity to hurt and to cry."

Abbas added that the Palestinian Authority would have prevented the attack, in which five members of the Fogel family were stabbed to death by two Palestinian terrorists in the West Bank settlement of Itamar, if it would have had prior information about it. He noted that he agreed with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to launch a joint investigation into the matter.

Not all Palestinians shared in the President's sentiments:

Residents of the Gaza city of Rafah on Saturday poured out on the streets to celebrate the terror attack in Itamar, where five family members were murdered in their homes on Sabbath eve. Their joy, one resident said, "is a natural response to the harm settlers inflict on the Palestinian residents in the West Bank."

How do you top the evil of slaughtering children, including an infant?  You do so by celebrating those murders.

Despicable, immoral and inhuman indeed.

This is simply horrific. How anyone can do this is, well, it just defies words.

And though I'm not surprised that the MSM is avoiding all mention of the violence and death threats in Wi, how they can essentially ignore this boggles the mind.

Brucepall:

Mr. Tea has a very valid point. From my experience, Palestinian Arabs are some of the most duplicitous, underhanded, two-faced people I have ever met. Except for breeding, they are one of the most dysfunctional cultures I have ever encountered.

While that may seem harsh, I do acknowledge that the Germans and Japanese nations are now our friends. It wasn't always that way - it took a World War, which expended a lot of lives and treasure, to transform and rehabilitate them. Perhaps war is what free democracies will have to resort to - to finally put an end to this deviant debauchery.

FWIW, I feel the same way, and have the same thoughts, about Somalia Pirates too.

Ignore everything Abbas says. Read what he does.

In the period prior to the murders of Ruth and Udi Fogel and their three children in the Israeli town Itamar, the Palestinian Authority continued to encourage terror by glorifying terrorists as heroes and role models and through calls for violence. In addition, in an act that sent a clear message of support for terror, PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas awarded $2000 to the family of a terrorist who attacked and tried to kill Israeli soldiers - just 2 months ago.
