And that is indeed headline news, as the most dangerous place to be in DC is between Chucky and a TV Camera or a Microphone. This most uncommon of occurrences, so like the "man bites dog" definition of news worthy, came as Chucky was instructing Babs Boxer (D-CA), Tom Carper (D-DE), Ben Cardin (D-MD), and Dick Blumenthal (D-CT) to tell reporters that the GOP was refusing to negotiate on budget cuts for the next continuing resolution. Sadly for Chucky, he was not in private session with the other four Democrats as he believed, reporters for the Washington Examiner (and reportedly other news outlets as well) were already on the call.
Schumer coordinates Dem budget attack on GOP

...He told the group to make sure they label the GOP spending cuts as "extreme."
"I always use extreme, Schumer said. "That is what the caucus instructed me to use."
Someone must have finally told Schumer that the media were listening and he stopped talking midsentence.
Who knew such a thing was possible? It's like getting "The 0ne" to talk for more than a minute without talking about his imperial self...
Here's a bit more of what he said about House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, according to my notes.
"The main thrust is basically that we want to negotiate and we want to come up with a compromise but the Tea Party is pulling Boehner too far over to the right and so far over that there is no more fruitful negotiations," Schumer said on the call. "The only way we can avoid a shutdown is for Boehner to come up with a reasonable compromise and not just listen to what the Tea Party wants. "
As if Chucky listens to anyone outside of his caucus leadership...
Cherish the moment, it may never recur.

That sound bite should be played over and over at his next re-election bid. At least the voters will know who Chuckie is working for - and it's not them.

One might think the press would be really interested in this. Essentially, Schumer is saying "Here is how we use our office to manipulate the press."
It ought to be headline news on every Newspaper in the country. Somehow, though, I think it won't be. . ..

Nice. It's nice to hear Fuquey Schummer, D-ouchenozzle NY, shut the heck up. What a tool, but he get reelected every time. NY deserves what they vote for, but Schummer should not have sway over the rest of the country.

Schumer is lying leftist scum, film at eleven. Ho-hum. Pretty much anyone who didn't already know this is a committed Democratic voter who wouldn't care if he and Obama were caught beating toddlers with baseball bats for fun.
And his coaching is perfectly understandable. He was talking to Boxer, Carper, Cardin, and Blumenthal, four of the dumbest human beings on the planet. The only surprise is that he didn't remind them to breathe.

That budget deficit looks mighty EXTREME. We would have to be EXTREMEly stupid to believe that Congress is anything but EXTREMEly irresponsible with an EXTREMEly miniscule cut like those.
