We're not cruise people, but we're going on one with our wee ones in January to Roatan, Belize, Costa Maya, and it is a fascinating experience (we're not the ones on the cruise boozing it up and getting blind drunk like some). It's great with small kids--gets you to some hard to reach places for quick trips off the boat.
