It's time to raise the white flag.
Just read where Boehner announced he trusted Obama. That’s the stupidist GOP’s form of a waiver ever.
Tell me again, how and why the nation should not eagerly vote for a man who is trusted by his enemy and offers them free everything including absolution from racial and environmental guilt?

We never seem to get the videos of the corporate execs discussing how to export jobs and cut wages and benefits. I'm sure "screw 'em" is a part of those discussions about American workers.
What's wrong with unions, at least in the private sector? Just another form of freedom of association. If workers want to organize to balance the power of the company, that's their right.
In the public sector, I know it's a bit different, because workers also have power through the ballot box.
Still, a lot of right-wingers might wake up when their wages are reduced to Malaysian coolie levels. Almost anything can be outsourced unless discouraged by tax and tariff policy.
From what JT has written, I'm sure that his employer won't have any mercy for him when the time comes to replace him with an Indian in Bangalore or a Filipino in Manila. Oh well, they can't outsource food service positions at Long John Silver's.

Chico,
Why do Jobs get exported? There is always a cost benefit ratio. Companies need to make a profit. Cost for business include labor cost, regulations, cost of goods. The then need to factor in productivity and things like flexibility. The American worker when unfettered is one of the most productive in the world. However when that productive is countered by regulations companies will look else where. The Unions made a big mistake they felt they had only bargaining chip which was their labor, without which nothing could be produced, Companies had an option move into another market. This can be another State, City or Country.
The other false premise is not understanding micro economics. In the USA you might make 20USD an hour. In China maybe you can make 10 USD an hour.
A hue an cry goes out about exploitation. However in certain areas that means that a person can buy food, clothing and still have money left over to send home.
This is one of the reason why Unions want to be international. They want to make it so Companies can not move and all labor prices are the same everywhere. This of course can ruin microeconomics by making it too expensive for others and instead of helping people forces people to move away.
Education and cost of Eduction plays a factor also.
The problem with Unions esp the ones here are that their Ultimate goal is not the benefit of the Company but to tear it down. They are working for the destruction of company and society.
Chico did you watch the Video?
Are you talking about Unions in general?

RE: flags
I park my truck with a NOBAMA sticker (on a magnet) on the hood and a Gadsden sticker and flag on the back. There are some places where its just not safe to contradict THE ONE, thus the magnet. I hope someday that will change. Raising a white flag won't do it.

Keep in mind that Brian Becker, the guy in the first video, was the leader of International ANSWER, a front group for Workers World Party. The WWP split off from the Socialist Workers Party, because the SWP objected to the Soviet invasion of Hungary. The WWP loves them some violent communist takeovers. In a just world he wouldn't be able to show his face due to the shame of having supported such a murderous regime, and many more like it.

Here is another story which explains why businesses are moving overseas
http://www.nationalreview.com/planet-gore/265565/epa-ruling-puts-27-billion-barrels-oil-limits-greg-pollowitz
In short, they dont have to deal with the idiotic regulations that OBama and the EPA throw at them in order to do something productive which will make money. Now we know that Obama and his cronies arent used to the idea that people actually want to make money by doing something productive instead of having the govt hand it to them but you would think that Obama would actually have gotten that concept after over 2 years in office.

27 billion barrels is about 40 years of persian gulf imports.
Since it is produced in the states rather than we buy it from overseas at $100 a barrel that would be $2.7 trillion THAT DIDNT GET SPENT OVERSEAS BUT STAYED IN THE US ECONOMY.
Lets see the EPA is worred about air contamination for a village of 200 people 70 MILES AWAY FROM THE DRILLING SITE. Yep that is worth $2.7 TRILLION going overseas.
Hell if there were more oil there it would even surpass the amount of money added to the defecit that OBAMA HAS PILED UP SINCE BEING IN OFFICE. When you are talking about a number that big than you know you are talking big numbers.
