I've been reading-watching Bill Whittle's work for a long time now. His book - "Silent America" is a compilation of his essays on the US and why it's different - and well worth reading.

Yeah, let's bust a meme... by inventing some new ones! The White House didn't say "Mission Accomplished"... well, they denied it, but then later admitted it, but you can just ignore that because Bush said "not really" in his speech. And Bush is really a strategeric genius; no one knew it at the time, but fiery video effects prove it. And isn't it great that Iraq can vote... for Iran-sympathetic and corrupt leaders!
That's as far as I got. My neck veins were about to burst, all right... from laughter.

John maybe you should start with an Elementary reader, sorry for giving you something you obviously can't understand. Here let me highlight what you missed.

Bush, in October 2003, disavowed any connection with the "Mission Accomplished" message. He said the White House had nothing to do with the banner; a spokesman later said the ship's crew asked for the sign and the White House staff had it made by a private vendor.
So once again, you provide a link that confirms exactly what I said. And then you highlighted the "but what we really meant was..." epilogue. You must have been OK with John Kerry's botched joke, then.
