Yes, it marks the first day of summer. Yes, it's a day for barbecues and the beach. Yes, it's a day for family and fun. And yes, some might call a post like this trite and clichéd. To hell with them.
All we enjoy today we enjoy because of the sacrifices made by others. So please, take a moment to ponder that truth and be grateful. It's a debt we'll not ever pay back.
