That provocative statement coming from The PJ Tatler at PajamasMedia as he writes about the anti-circumcision campaign brochure being disseminated by some in San Francisco:
As you may have heard by now, San Francisco will be voting this November on whether or not to ban circumcision in the city.
Defenders of the measure say it's all about "human rights" and "protecting babies" from unnecessary procedures.
But critics suspected there was something vaguely anti-Semitic about the whole proposal, since among Jews (and Muslims, as well) circumcising male babies is a religious duty, not just a mistaken medical procedure.
Ban proponents insisted their proposal had nothing to do with Jews -- really, it's all about the rights of children.
Well, any doubt that they were lying have now been dispelled, with the publication of new campaign literature for the upcoming circumcision ban. The campaign comic book, called "Foreskin Man," after its baby-saving superhero, features a litany of evil Jews doing battle with blond Nordic saviors.
A couple of tell-tale images from the comic book are below but PJ has more.
H/T to Bookworm who writes:
It's horrifying, nasty, awful, evil stuff. I read a headline today (and can't, for the life of me, figure out where), stating that antisemitism is resurgent today in a way not seen since the eve of WWII. This kind of garbage makes that claim -- a claim I don't doubt is true -- resonate with real force.

Anti-Semitism has, for years, been flourishing in the far left. It's not a surprise to see it "Come out" in San Francisco, a bastion of far left lunacy.
What I find striking about the whole circumcision thing is that there are decent scientific based arguments that can be made against it, yet the left resorts to a revolting form of bigotry to make their point instead. Says a lot about today's left.

Jim M, I'm hoping you're being funny. I believe in the second amendment for a number of reasons, but one of them is to protect myself from people like Mr. Hess (the author of this hatred) and others who support him. I would also wonder what Senators Barbara Boxer, Dianne Feinstein (both Jewish, Di Fi's from S.F.) and Nancy Pelosi (S.F., Jewish grandchildren) think of all of this.
First, they came for the Jews, and I didn't say anything because I wasn't Jewish...

AS to the idea that non-circumcision is an issues solely for the left, that is untrue. There are conservatives who do not believe in circumcision as well. The difference is that they don't see the need of forcing their beliefs upon others. That is the main difference between libs and conservatives. Libs believe that they know the only way to live correctly and they intend to force everyone else to eat like they do, exercise like they do, drive the same cars etc, etc.

So does abstinence. Why don't you recommend that? Circumcision is a personal choice of the parents and there are reasons both religious and scientific in favor and against it. This is just the left determining that the discussion is now closed and the debate has ended in their favor and they are going to force everyone to do as they say.

I'm telling you right now there is a gay angle to all of this. The idea of being "uncut" in gay culture means you sustain far more pleasure in sex than the man who has had foreskin removed. It's also something many gay men seekout when looking for a sex partner......Another case of gays being victims of parents who forced circumcision on them. Because Antisemitism is primarily the province of the far left today. Like it or not that is the case. So when people see someone come out with a virulently antisemitic publication in an area renown for being full of far left wackos, the assumption is that it comes from the far left.
Additionally, the purpose of the law is to tell the public in what way they will be allowed to lead their lives. THAT is also something that the left is primarily known for. The left wants to tell us what car to drive, what kind of light bulb to use, what kind of health insurance we should carry, how we should school our children, etc, etc.
That's why we assume that when someone comes out with a bigoted message telling people how to live their lives we assume that they are from the left. 99%+ of the time we are correct in doing so,
