Thankfully, journalists are out there sounding the alarm:
Sarah Palin's bus is plastered with a mock-up of the U.S. Constitution. But her entourage -- both the three-vehicle motorcade that includes the bus and the smaller, two-SUV version she uses for smaller events -- hasn't been very respectful of traffic laws.
They speed. They run red lights and stop signs. They make last-second lane changes to get off the highway, sometimes without signaling.
So do the reporters following them.
Journalists in the caravan trailing her "One Nation" tour bus describe the experience as harrowing, a rolling menace careening up the East Coast in hot pursuit of the former Alaska governor who declined to provide any advance itinerary of her tour over six days on the road.
As they left the clambake she attended Thursday in New Hampshire, Palin's two-SUV caravan traveled at 52 miles per hour in a 35 mph zone as it peeled away from the hosts' neighborhood. Both cars blew through a stop sign about a mile later. They did 70 mph in a 55 mph zone on I-95 -- and then, after they got off, without signaling, flew right past a flashing sign informing them they were going 45 mph in a 35 mph zone.
And that was after they had already stormed the major cities -- and just missed driving through a tornado on the road into Boston.
Yet more substantive reasons to dismiss Sarah Palin. She's a rolling menace and presumably, women and children and minorities are her likeliest victims.
She must be stopped and thank God the media are there to do their part.

There's something else. Something deep down within the twisted and deranged mind of a leftist that causes them literally to bug out about Palin.
Keep in mind not even Richard Nixon and not even George W. Bush provoked that sort of mindless insanity among leftists that Palin does, which truly is remarkable.

Palin (someone you can be sure has never red history):
“He (Paul Revere) warned the British that they weren’t going to be taking our arms by ringing those bells and making sure as he’s riding his horse through town to send those warning shots and bells that we were going to be secure and we were going to be free.”
It sounds more like a description of the rock band 'Paul Revere and the Raiders', from her previous home state of Idaho. Who knows maybe she got them confused?
Here is what really happened with Paul Revere , not that any Palin apologist seems to care a hoot about facts.
Palin and fellow airhead, Michele Bachmann costantly evoke the Tea Party, the Revolutionary and the Founding Fathers, to give their movement legitimacy, by claiming they are heirs to the real American heroes, but they have not the foggiest idea of the gegraphy involved (Lexington New Hsmpshire) Bachmann, or minimal respect for the actual history.
Bachmann again, "the very founders that wrote those documents worked tirelessly until slavery was no more in the United States....Men like John Quincy Adams, who would not rest until slavery was extinguished in the country." (how long did these founding fathers live?)

Jacobson, Associate Clinical Professor, Cornell Law School, has a few things to say in response to those who would never think of apologizing to Palin, not even if they ran into her while laughing mindlessly in their cars at her supposed error. Among those statements is this one which hopefully might open your eyes a bit more than they are at present.

I'm going on record siding with the critics here. The video of Palin talking about Revere makes her look stupid, stumbling, and like she has no idea what she is talking about. She goofed. It's just the kind of thing the media hopes for.
I could write a treatise on this. It gives Palin's critics "confirmation" of what they already believe. Never mind that there are plenty of Obama gaffes that look just as damning, if not more so. If Obama did the same thing I would be laughing myself silly. As it is, I'm just groaning.
Bottom line, it does not matter. The reason I despise Obama has little to do with "57 states" and his constant stuttering and stammering. It is his base ideology that is offensive, and Palin's that I find so appealing.
I don't know the entire context of the exchange, but I note that Palin's gaffe is probably due to the "pop-quiz" trick that conservatives keep getting subjected to. Unfortunately, Palin took the bait. Conservatives need to recognize this for what it is and call hostile interviewers on it when it happens. I don't know why they feel the need to respond to this stuff. When is the pop-quiz ever sprung on a leftist? I assure you, if it were, they would not be passing with flying colors either and would provide plenty of entertaining fodder.

How does a brilliant student screw up the location of Auschwitz, and think that an American could possibly have been involved in its liberation?
How does anyone of normal intelligence mispronounce such exotic vocabulary items as "corpsman" - not once, but twice?

If Barry didn't have a teleprompter feeding him lines he wouldn't be able to utter a coherent thought (and those times when TOTUS has gone off line he has demonstrated pretty much just that).
It took Barry 16 hours to decide whether or not to go after Bin Laden, and that after hunting he bastard for 10 years and knowing that he was likely in that compound since August of last year. If that is thinking on his feet what glacial decision making should we expect when he's not on his game? Perhaps he 6 month waffling over Afghanistan that he did 2 years ago would be that example.

If Barry didn't have a teleprompter feeding him lines he wouldn't be able to utter a coherent thought (and those times when TOTUS has gone off line he has demonstrated pretty much just that).
My favorite was the time the Messiah thanked himself and read the wrong speech off the teleprompter. He was reading the Irish PM's welcoming speech, instead of the one Soros had ordered him to read. Not only is he too stupid to speak for himself, he's too stupid to realize that there's something amiss when the teleprompter says, "Thank you, President Obama," and he just reads that verbatim, apparently unaware that he just thanked himself.
Priceless.
But he's a genius, doncha know?

Revere's warning, according to eyewitness accounts of the ride and Revere's own descriptions, was "The Regulars are coming out", not "the British are coming" as legend has it, but is much the same thing.
Revere certainly wasn´t riding through the night warning the British, that the American miltias were coming, he was riding through the night warning the Americans or the Masschusetts colonists that the British were coming. She got it backwards, some history lesson, unless this was her intent, I think that is called negative reinforcement.

The press blames Palin because they are breaking the law and she wont tell them where she is going. It is simple for them to not break the law. STOP FOLLOWING her.
And it isnt like Palin is driving the bus. She probably has no clue what type of driving the driver is doing.
Of course that doesnt matter to the Lamestream media.

Sarah may have stumbled a bit in answering the question, but it is evident to me, if not to the ignorant leftists proving the poverty of their education every time they open their mouths, that she knows a helluva lot more about the context in which Revere’s ride took place than any of these trolls smirking and posturing around this blog. Fact of the matter is that when this particular story has run its course, there will be a lot more knowledge revealed concerning aspects of Paul Revere’s famous ride than most of us knew from our admittedly casual awareness of just the basic facts of that well known moment.
And once again there will be many a leftist with egg on his/her face and many a Palin appreciator chuckling in the background about the ease with which the uneducated MSM and leftists in general are lured into grandstanding when they don't have a clue about the background to things such as Revere's ride.
Those guys will never learn and that goes for their echo chamber her at Wizbang.

Yes MichaelC, it is shameful how the history of our country has been watered down and completeley ignored at times. My sister who lives in Nashville, TN recently had a young man in his late twenties from Seatle, WA visit her home. He had never heard of the Civil War. What kind of education are kids getting in the State of Washington? Before he returned home he was well versed on the subject and probably extremely tired of being carted around from the Battle of Franklin site to Shiloh to Fort Donelson. Good on ya Sis.
I hope Sarah and her entourage make it to that part of the country to see that part of our history.
