Garbage In Garbage Out.
No matter how you massage bad data, it's still bad data. Nor will all the spin in the world alter reality on the ground.
One should also take care in the parallels one draws, as all such are double edged swords. The never ending Leftist "progression": That didn't work, let's try it again. Hmm, that didn't work, let's try it again...Stimulus and Response
June 10, 2011 - 8:58 am
Business Insider links to the upcoming Time magazine cover with an "unexpected" twinge of surprise:
Ladies and gentleman, your latest Time Magazine cover.
The full story is here, but we think you get the point from the cover.
That happened fast, didn't it?
Not at all. On November 24 2008, almost two months before then-President-Elect Obama would take office, Time magazine declared him to be the second coming of FDR. When what Time magazine described as "The New, New Deal" turned out to have the identical effect as the Old Old New Deal, why on earth would they be surprised?
Time to get off the misery-go-round of progressive policy.

Hope is not a strategy. Change is not a strategy. Liberalism is not a strategy. The admin is clueless on what to do with the economy, Foreign affairs, The deficit and the nation in general. This is because the folks responsible are clueless. What they learned in the ivory towers has no basis in fact or reality. Give them credit though, they will pursue the agenda to the bitter end because they are right and everyone else is wrong. Their professors told them so.

Every so often reality hits liberals so hard it is able to seep through their concrete skulls. Unfortunately, however, the effect almost always is very short-lived.
Although Time's editors might appear with this latest cover to be clueing in somewhat, it must be noted that by this time next year they'll be in full Obama orgasmic mode, fawning over him like spoiled party girls might fawn over a Hermes catalogue.

Tina,
I subscribed to Time magazine from 1976 through 1991. In 1991, I became so disgusted with how biased it had become, I stopped subscribing. You may be correct that it has become unbiased, but it would be the first member of the media to go from left to center. It's columnist / journalist, Joe Klein, was a "journolist" member. The "journolisters" found it necessary to hide the fact that they were liberals. If you produce an "unbiased" product, why hide?
