I'm not a big Romney fan by any stretch of the imagination but this is right on:
Republican White House hopeful Mitt Romney accused President Barack Obama on Thursday of failing to understand how to fix the U.S. economy and urged him to focus on jobs instead of playing golf.
"Obamanomics is not working," Romney said, standing in a weed-strewn back entrance to the shuttered American Metal Works plant Obama had visited in 2009 as a potential symbol of economic renewal. It closed early this year.
Taking aim at an issue that could be Obama's key vulnerability in the 2012 election, Romney also launched a 40-second Web video blaming the Democratic president's economic policies for 100,000 job losses in Pennsylvania.
...
This was Romney's rejoinder to Obama's accusations on Wednesday that Republicans are taking too much time off without working on a deal to avert a government debt default on Aug. 2.
"The president's time is being focused on playing golf and campaigning, campaigning in Pennsylvania today, and blaming. He should be spending his time and his energy working on getting Americans back to work and fixing this economy," Romney said.
Or writing a resignation speech.
Just sayin'.

Looks like someone is finally waking up about the "kid glove approach' being bullshit.
That speech will leave a mark and immediately put Sensitive Barry on the defensive.
ALL the candidates should be doing the same.
Screw this "he's too popular". No he's not. He's using the race card to keep from being called on his policies and performance.
Time to drop the 'white guilt'. The guy is a fuck up of the first order. And sure as hell is no "leader".

As much as I despise Romney he's spot on with that comment. Now if others will just start pressing on the (P)resident we'll see just how thin skinned he really is.

The irony here is that Obama has done so much permanent damage to the country while mostly being a no-show in the Oval Office imagine how much worse off we'd be if he actually did start showing up and working more often.
On a related topic, if next November you don't vote for whomever the GOP nominates then you'll be voting to reelect Obama, which ipso facto means that you're literally deranged.

I'm with GarandFan @ #1: ALL the candidates should be calling out this lying, arrogant, failed President every single day from now to the election.
His Epic Fail is taking the country down, and we need to make sure no one gets a free ride for supporting him. Every elected Democrat should either be calling on Obama to step down, or tied to his raft as he goes over the falls.
Huntsman won't join in, since he's already on record cooing and sweet-talking Obama - laying it on so thick people were telling the two of them to get a room. But it's okay, after he's finished well behind Margin Of Error in a couple primaries, he can go home to Utah or China or Obamaville.

Pffft. 'Whomever the GOP nominates'? Fuck them. They either nominate someone worthy of my vote or they don't.
We are in such dire straights that only a hard-core, slash-spending, tea party-type will do us any good now. Not a Romney-come-lately who talks tough NOW, but has always been a 'work with my esteemed Democrat colleagues across the aisle' plastic politician.
The only ones I see with the right attitude are Paul, Cain and Bachmann. R Paul is right on a lot of things, but he is a bit of a nutjob, so he is out. Cain has the right attitude, but he just does not have the chops for the job of President. Bachmann doesn't look like she has the chops either, but I'm willing to be convinced otherwise.
Ryan looks promising, but he is not running. Christie has a lot going for him, and some things against him, but he is not running.
Frankly, there is not much out there to be excited about at this point.
If the choice is Obama's burn-it-all-down-now regime or a RINO burn-it-down-slightly-slower, then I say let's get it over with and burn it down now. We can start rebuilding that much sooner.

If we go down, the rest of the world is going down too, so we're all going to have to rebuild. It's not like we'll be down and the rest of the world will be strong.
I guess we'll see.
Either way, let's try to avoid falling down by electing people who want to return to a Constitutional America. That's our only hope.
