"Real leadership is...putting Joe Biden in charge."

Pretty much exactly what I said after the president said what he said by DrewM over at Ace of Spades HQ.

Here’s Obama on how he demonstrates leadership (which is apparently lacking in Congress).

And I’ve got to say, I’m very amused when I start hearing comments about, well, the President needs to show more leadership on this. Let me tell you something. Right after we finished dealing with the government shutdown, averting a government shutdown, I called the leaders here together. I said we’ve got to get done — get this done. I put Vice President Biden in charge of a process — that, by the way, has made real progress — but these guys have met, worked through all of these issues.

Real leadership is…putting Joe Biden in charge.

Because the only thing Joe Biden is better at than organizing the congressional kegger is fixing a really obvious problem with a really obvious answer. If it ain’t workin’, kick it down the line, blame somebody else. Leadership!

There’s more like that at the link, for those of you who want to know more of the juicy details of the presser. And then there’s this fisking by way of Gateway Pundit:

It must be stressful juggling the Presidency in-between tee times? I wish him the best when he retires in 2012.

Hahahahaha!!! Gasp! Wheeze! Snort! Shit! Who ever imaged that Barry was a comedian!

Maybe he should make that his permanent job.

Given Romney's wipe at him today, that will really put Barry on the defensive.

This cartoon clown wouldn't know leadership if it bit him in the ass!

A real leader knows when his head is so far up his ass that someone else needs to do his job.

So much for the party of Harry Truman. Under obama the buck stops anywhere but here.

Delegating responsibility is actually something a good leader does but you have to have picked some capable people to assign the tasks to. No one in his whole administration has ever in their whole life had any real accomplishment other being appointed or elected. Academics exercising actual authority over our govt. operations has proven the old saw that those who can do and those who can't tech as witnessed by the exodus of his original appointees to return to their ivory towers after massive failures.

He's so far out of his league he should just resign and give Joe a shot at it.

Biden could hardly do any worse.

Dunce, that's the problem. Many of these people aren't returning to ivory towers. They're crafting policy and regulation and then leaving the administration or their appointed posts to start up companies and organizations to bilk the populace of whatever money they can by exploiting what they implemented.

That old saw should read: those who can't ... get themsleves elected to change the playing field in their favor. Because they certainly can't make it on a level playing field.

Hell, Reps have been doing it for decades. They craft legislation and then operate on the fringes of it for personal gain. It's akin to insider trading at it's worst. Some step over the edge of exploitation and outright break the laws because they know they won't get more than a slap on the wrist.

But back to the topic. It's painful to watch him without his teleprompter. The "uhs" and long pauses followed by the speaking and reasoning capability of a third grader exposes him for what he is. I'll let you guys decide on an adjective/noun combination. The ones I'm thinking of aren't for mixed company.
