No Cameras At Peterson Hearing

The Kobe affair, terrorism, the continuing operations in Iraq, etc. in addition to this bode well for his defense team. I believe he's guilty, but keeping the cameras may keep the case off of the top of the media foder list. If it does, that's a small victory for the defense up front. No word on wether the trial will be televised.

MODESTO, Calif. (AP) - A judge banned cameras and recording devices from the court hearing in which prosecutors will lay out their case against Scott Peterson.

"It involves the victims' families who will be forced to relive their worst nightmare in a very public way, which unfortunately is necessary to the process," Stanislaus County Judge Al Girolami wrote in the ruling, released Monday. "Televising these passionate proceedings is not, however, necessary to the process.
