Weekend Caption Contest™ Winners

This weeks Weekend Caption Contest™ had many fine entries, most of them working in a pull my finger gag. I was going to zig to your zag (have to keep everyone on their toes), but I was a sucker for Jay Tea's old English treatment. Judi saw past the finger; earning her way right into the top spot. The winning captions for this picture:

1) (Judi) - "After a tough competition, Charles narrows down the finalists in the Camilla Parker-Bowles look-a-like contest. The winner proceeds onto the Best in Show competition at Krupps."

2) (Jay Tea) - "She that pulleth my finger is rightwise born queen of all England."

3) (Rodney Dill) - "Of course, actually, you are quite correct, my finger does smell like fish and Chip(s) now."

Until Friday...

At last the truth can be to... (Below threshold)
Jay Tea:

At last the truth can be told:

Kevin loves fart jokes.

In fact, Kevin is addicted to fart jokes.

After weeks of people going for the cheap, easy laughs, Kevin decides to set us all up. He finds a picture with an obvious fart joke in it, then decides to reward those who see past the obvious and find other sources of humor. Then, when Sunday night rolls around, he can't pull the trigger. Top prize goes to a cheap shot at Charles' homely mistress, but second and third go to smell jokes.

I saw through this, and tried to resist. I dragged up Charles' comment about wanting to be a certain sanitary product. I recycled the rumors that one certain prince is gay. I even threw in a (probably too vague) "Queer Eye" gag. But few can resist the lure of The Dark Side. One short detour through the bowels of Camelot and the silver is mine.

But hey, at least I beat Rodney "Evil Bastard" Dill this week.

Rodney Dill:

It's so hard to live up to expectations, I was hoping that the Fish and Chip(s) entry would be this weeks block buster. But, I can't really argue with Judi's and Jay "Pull my finger" Tea's entries as they were both really good.

My hopes for a trifecta were dashed as Dodd ignored my entries again this week, probably due to an unfortunate lawyer slur in a caption from the Steve Irwin contest several weeks ago.
