The Sharks Smell Blood

What started out as a domestic spy story this morning is turning into a mini-media frenzy as reporters and bloggers race to put together a background dossier on Susan Lindauer.

One thing that is evident is that Susan Lindauer is deeply rooted in workforce of the Democratic party, and that she's an active in the anti-war movement.

It will be interesting to see in a "Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon" kind of way how (or if) she can be tied to Sen. John Kerry or President Bush. The Seattle Post-Intelligencer has Baconed her to George Bush...

Let's see. This woman worked for four different Democratic politicians and was a journalist over the years. So, naturally, the lead is "second cousin of White House Chief Of Staff Andrew Card arrested."

So... this woman has a long history of working exclusively for Democrats. Then she sells herself out to Saddam Hussein and attempts to subvert the Republican White House Chief Of Staff, her cousin, who turns her in to the FBI, and HE'S the one who's getting smeared?

If you'll excuse me, I think I'll go be sick.
