Election Coverage

Two unique takes on the presidential race:

Scott Elliot's Election Project has an interesting formula to try to predict Novembers election (if the election was held today) based on current polling data. The formula considers Bush's job approval rating, Bush vs. Kerry polling, and surveys that ask if participants think the country is on the right track or headed in the wrong direction. Go see the current numbers, you might be surprised. Analysis of the March data is here.

Steven Taylor has changed the focus of the Toast-O-Meter from whose primary chances are toast to who's rising and falling in all things presidential election. That includes both Bush and Kerry, and the potential VP candidates. There's loads of good links from the left, right and center of the blog loaf.
