Pakistan Military Operation Continues

I was just starting to wonder where this story had gone to.

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan - As Pakistan waged its largest military operation ever against al-Qaida fighters along its border with Afghanistan, a tape aired Thursday and purportedly recorded by the terror group's No. 2 commander called Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf a traitor and urged people to get rid of his government.

The speaker, who sounded like Ayman al-Zawahri, also called for a military uprising in Pakistan.

Seems to be continuing with no immediate end in sight

Pakistani interior Minister Faisal Saleh Hayyat vowed earlier Thursday that the operation in South Waziristan, which began 10 days ago, would continue until the “complete elimination” of terrorists holed up there.
