Weekend Caption Contest™ Winners

This week's Weekend Caption Contest™ was another smash hit. The assignment this week was to caption the following picture:

Here are the winning entries:

1) (Scott) - "Every time they try to get me out, I pull myself back in..."

2) (fustian) - "He wasn't invited to the Michael Jackson send-off. Everyone was afraid he'd ask Michael to stand up..."

3) (engineer) - "Well, people that I say that to say, 'What are you talking about, you're telling me we have to go spend money to keep from going bankrupt?' Biden said. 'The answer is yes, I'm telling you.'"

"'You still don't understand? Let me make it simpler. You have to throw gas on a fire to keep it from spreading. Wait a minute, try this, you have to pull out your hair in order to keep from losing your hair. No, no, no, let me try again....'"

4) (Porkopolis) - "Proving his versatility to the students of Gallaudet University, Joe Biden shows that he's capable of making gaffes using sign language."

5) (IowaRight) - "We're soooo close to socialism now, it seems sometimes I could just reach out and touch it..."

6) (DJ Drummond) - "This is your government on crack."

The Readers Choice Award this week goes to:

(Maggie Mama) - "Now, people when I say that look at me and say, 'What are you talking about, Joe? You're telling me we have to go spend money to keep from going bankrupt?' Biden said. 'The answer is yes, that's what I'm telling you.'"

{Sometimes Biden's own words are better than anything we can make up!}

That's it for this weekend. A new edition of the Wizbang Weekend Caption Contest™ will debut Friday morning.

zippity: Kevin picks the winners. The voting doesn't always match his choices, but if your efforts don't appeal to Kevin, the Reader's Choice is your chance at greatness.

Surely, you don't believe in majority rule, do you? Isn't that what got us Obama?

Just think of Kevin as an electoral college of one.
