Coakley: Worst Campaigner Ever

I don't think it would be possible to have more gaffes in the week leading up to an election. Here's part of a radio interview with Coakley.

WBSM Radio Host Ken Pittman: Right, if you are a Catholic, and believe what the Pope teaches that any form of birth control is a sin. ah you don't want to do that.

Martha Coakley: No we have a separation of church and state Ken, lets be clear.

Ken Pittman: In the emergency room you still have your religious freedom.

Martha Coakley: (...stammering) The law says that people are allowed to have that. You can have religious freedom but you probably shouldn't work in the emergency room.

Someone should tell her that freedom OF religion is not the same thing as freedom FROM religion.

Could this woman be running a worse campaign? I think not.

Notice also that Coakley is already assuming that the hospital emergency room is an extension of the federal government.

If you don't think that the government wants to control what you think and say, look no further. Coakley sees no problem with the government telling you what you can and cannot think and believe if you want to hold a job in this country.

Coakley is having major problems. She's actually having TO RUN for the job that she thought was GUARANTEED. How "uppity" of those commoners, making her have to work for the job. Who the hell do they think they are ASKING HER QUESTIONS.

Barry and Company are speeding up their time table:

Yeah, they might beat Brown's being sworn in, but have they factored in the "aw shit!" factor of a lot of Democrats jumping the ObamaCare ship when they see that Barry can't even protect the KENNEDY SENATE SEAT?

Could this woman be running a worse campaign?

Of course she could. Second corollary to Murphy's Law: there's always something else that can go wrong. If you say things can't get any worse, things will get worse just to prove you wrong. It's another example of the inherent perversity of the Universe.

Maybe she's like some sort of test - just how bad of a Democrat can get elected nowadays. The best part is that if she gets elected all of the 'special and midterm elections don't mean anything about Obama' stories from November are going to disappear and become 'look, this Democrat in a state that only elects Democrats won, so it validates Obama's national planning and proves he's still popular'.

Next I'll predict in which direction to look for the rising sun tomorrow.

Not a Dem. Think this Coakley is a moron. I generally hold a low opinion of the intellectual capacity of liberals in general. However, I do disagree with the statement that freedom of religion is not the same as freedom from religion. Saying they are not implies I must have a religion--in this country I should also possess the right to not be affiliated with any religion.

I also don't think it means every expression of religion must be suppressed either. Just clarifying...
