At least dozens of examples of media bias

The recent Searchlight Tea Party rally in Nevada hoped to draw a large crowd. How did they do? CNN reported that the crowd had at least dozens of people. Hmmm, dozens. So what are talking about? Thirty or so people? A hundred maybe?

That's disappointing. I guess this tea party movement is already dying out. We can all be glad CNN is on the scene, giving us the cold hard facts. They weren't able to give us a picture of the crowd, though, but there's no need really. I mean how interesting is a "crowd" of a few dozen people anyway?

Looks like pictures were available however from other sources. Here's one of those few dozen people.

I'm not a crowd estimation expert, but that seems like a little bit more than a few dozen to me. Once the rally started, people were still fighting traffic to join it. Here's one view:

Amazing that a few dozen people were able to drive hundreds of cars at the same time. For the record, Politico estimated the crowd size at 20,000.

Hat tip Gateway Pundit for the image links. I'd attempt to shame the media for this laughable bias but as they feel no shame I won't waste my time...

"In for a penny, in for a pound."

CNN and many other MSM "news" outlets are fully committed to promoting the Democrat agenda, hence the minimization or outright mischaracterization of any event or action seen to be contrary to it.

I saw a 'news' story on CNN about the Searchlight, NV Tea Party rally being the kickoff tour that would end on April 15th in the capitol. They had their camera focus just on Sarah Palin, never panning back to show the crowd size. I might also mention that they were not up front because the camera only showed her at the podium from a distance, not what you'd expect if there were only a "few dozen people" in attendance.

Dan, don't you have to have integrity in order to feel shame? Hell, CNN knew what was going on in Iraq under Hussian. They didn't want to 'spoil their access' by saying anything negative.

I feel the reason behind most of our troubles and the need for TEA Parties is the government's ability to print up whatever money it wants to get their way.

Maybe this will help make the danger of fiat money clear.

Imagine you and me are setting across from each other. We create enough money to represent all of the world's wealth. Each one of us has one SUPER Dollar in front of him.

You own half of everything and so do I.

I'm the government though. I get bribed into creating a Central Bank.

You're not doing what I want you to be doing so I print up myself eight more SUPER Dollars to manipulate you with.

All of a sudden your SUPER Dollar only represents one tenth of the wealth of the world!

That isn't the only thing though. You need to get busy and get to work because YOU'VE BEEN STIFFED with the bill for the money I PRINTED UP to get YOU TO DO what I WANTED.

That to me represents what has been happening to the economy, and us, and why so many of our occupations just can't keep up with the fake money presses.

They have been beating us with our own stick!!!!1

Due to being kept in the dark by the MSM, Leftists are going to get an awful shock in November.

This is how another "they stole the election" meme is built, by enabling Leftists to believe in an alternate reality through keeping them in the dark about what is going on around them.

Later, this belief that "they stole the election" will help Leftists morally justify attempts to steal the next election, and so it goes.

I drove North through Searchlight Thursday in the early afternoon. A Canuck passed me doing 65 in the rapidly phasing down speed limits on the uphill grade, and I thought, I sure hope the Speed Trap is open and gets that sucker. Well, there must have been a funeral for a motorcycle cop, because dozens of them pulled out of Terrible's right behind the guy with the Alberta plates. One of the unmarked accompanying them got him. I sure hope there was vinyl upholstery in the Alberta car, or its going to stink forever in there.

So there is Karma in Searchlight. I am sorry I missed the TP rally a day or two later.

You're juvenile. You have no point to make. You cannot even articulate a coherent argument supporting your beliefs. Come to think of it, you haven't actually articulated any beliefs other than an unthinking belief in Obama's messianic nature and whatever the MSM is broadcasting today.

The dem's can deny it all they want, but the Tea Party movement is real. The hardworking taxpayers (for you liberals, they are people who have a job and contribute to society) have had it with politics on both sides and are now pencilling in their calenders protests. Do you know how pissed off you have to be to add something to an already crowded calender? Very pissed. ww

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 52% of U.S. voters believe the average member of the Tea Party movement has a better understanding of the issues facing America today than the average member of Congress....47% think that their own political views are closer to those of the average Tea Party member than to the views of the average member of Congress.

Perhaps Barry, Nancy, Harry and the MSM had better rethink that "They're all racists and terrorists" mime.

In a separate matter, a Carson City District Court judge on Friday set an April 14 hearing on a lawsuit that challenges Ashjian's membership in the Tea Party of Nevada and his place on the ballot. Documents filed with the lawsuit appear to show that Ashjian changed his voter registration on March 2, the day after he filed his declaration of candidacy.

He's been a known fake for almost a month now:
