Weekend Caption Contest™ Winners

This week’s Weekend Caption Contest™, which will hopefully be one of the last Obama contests was another smashing success. Yes, I’m a bit late with the winners, but work and life intervined. The assignment last weekend was to caption the following picture:

President Barack Obama hugs Donna Vanzant, the owner of North Point Marina, as he tours damage from Hurricane Sandy in Brigantine, N.J., Oct. 31, 2012. (Official White House Photo by Pete Souza)

Here are the winning entries:

1) (Rodney Dill) – “…and instead of using your federal aid money to rebuild your marina, Donna, you still have time to donate to my reelection campaign.

2) (jim_m) – “Don’t worry. I won’t let any non-union workers help so your power will be back on sometime after the inauguration.

3) (emrengineer) – “Don’t worry ma’am, we have everything prioritized. The contraceptives are on the way.

4) (retired.military) – “Scenes at the Obama reelection campaign were grim as Ohio and PA were called for Romney.

5) (David Robertson) – “I know what its like to be a disaster victim. Have you seen my campaign lately?

6) (fustian24) – “Obama gets in the mood by thinking of how much damage some of his favorite golf courses must have sustained.

The Readers Choice Award this week goes to:

(John H) – “Staff photographers took this photo of one of the worst disasters to hit our country. The hurricane was no picnic either.

That’s all for this weekend. A new edition of the Wizbang Weekend Caption Contest™ will debut Friday morning.

I’d like to thank Kevin, the Obama Administration, failed green companies, Chinese investors, and all the slack jawed liberals everywhere, without whom none of this would’ve been necessary.
