This week's Weekend Caption Contest™ was another smash hit. The assignment this week was to caption the following picture:
Here are the winning entries:
1) (IowaRight) - "Here, let me get that 'kick me' sign that Medvedev stuck on your back..."
2) (fustian) - "Did you enjoy meeting the other empty figurehead?"
3) (Maggie Mama) - "Fine job, Mr. President. You remembered not to bow down to Medvedev."
4) (Pretzel Logic) - "I know that puppet hole is back here, Bill's got one."
5) (Rodney Dill) - "I'm not shovel ready... I'm cigar ready."
6) (Jeff) - "Empty suit and full pant suit"
The Readers Choice Award this week went to IowaRight's winning entry. In its place I offer the award for realism in captioning:
(John Sheehan) - (Gen. Mullen): "I can't freakin' believe I work for these guys."
That's all for this weekend. A new edition of the Wizbang Weekend Caption Contest™ will debut Friday morning.

Mullen is not a General. He is an Admiral. That is why he is wearing a Navy uniform.

I am chagrined and will return the honorarium. I am reasonably sure, however, that the Commander in Chief does not know the difference and has equal disdain for both Admirals and Generals.
