In early 2008 rumors began to fly that the Obama campaign cheated in the early Democratic primary caucuses, allowing him to create enough momentum that he was able to take the primary win from Hillary. That Obama won all the caucuses and lost all the primaries gives some credibility to the charge.
Adding fuel to the speculation and rumor is a new documentary from a long time Democrat and documentarian, GiGi Gaston. Gaston insists she has irrefutable proof that the Obama campaign cheated and stole the primary from Hillary.
As Ed Morrissey notes, caucuses have always been prone to manipulation, and Democratic candidates have always used that ease of manipulation to get the greatest advantage possible. In that sense, the documentary does not offer us any new information. However, after witnessing Obama's excesses in spending and disregard for the feelings and outrage of the American people, I have a feeling that whatever shenanigans Obama's campaign was up to in the caucuses, I would not be surprised if it went beyond what anyone else did in previous primaries.
Update: I see one of the documentary's producers, BettySueLA, commented on the post and is concerned that I'm not taking these allegations seriously. Trust me, I take Barack Obama's corruption and voter intimidation very seriously. But caucuses are so easy to manipulate that the Democratic party should have gotten rid of them years ago. If they had and Obama had to compete with Hillary in voting only primaries, Hillary Clinton would have been the Democratic nominee. The question is, will the DNC get rid of the caucuses?
While I am sure the Democrats will try to steal votes in the November midterm elections by making sure the dead, felons, and duplicate registrations stay on the voting rolls so their votes can be illegally cast, the only way Democrats can win is if those illegal votes outnumber the numbers of people who come out to vote against the Democrats, and with all the anger throughout the country today, I don't see that happening.
Which is why the Democrats are placing their hopes on a federally mandated universal voter registration system that will trump state and local voter registration laws. If they can gain control over the nation's voter registration system, then we will have a serious reason to panic.
Now, as for the New Black Panther party members standing in front of polling stations: they can plant themselves in front of the polling station doors and stare menacingly at people until they are blue in the face, but they can't physically prevent anyone from voting. They can try to scare people away from the polls but only if voters allow themselves to be scared away. Instead, voters should come armed with camcorders to document everything and then just stare menacingly back and walk right passed them.
Update II: I have to say I agree with Meiji_man:
But don't expect us to get as worked up about this as you are because we've been complaining about this since long before you ever thought there was a problem. For me it started with Gore's attempt to steal the election in Florida, by disenfranchising the soldiers and sailors that defend our system of democracy. Then you see felons in Minnesota and the out right shenanigans there putting Al Franken into the Senate. This has been an issue for much longer then before Hillary got screwed.
Welcome to the Suck.
And let's not forget how the Democrats stole JFK's win with voter fraud in Illinois and Texas. Voter fraud has been rampant in Illinois for decades and is still going on, but since the victims were and are usually Republicans, the media doesn't bat an eye.
Welcome to the Suck, indeed.

considering what Obama did to get in power, one can only imagine what he'll do to STAY in power, eh?

How can anyone not take this seriously? What is in those clips is the tip of the iceberg of what was done to Hillary in the Primary. My GOD we're all AMERICANS. If they stole Hillary voters votes, then they can steal everyone's. I wasn't going to vote for either Hillary OR Obama, but I produced this film and like Gigi spent my own money to do it. What we saw was a disgrace to this country. The most rampant fraud, physical abuse, death threats, you name it. This is neither legal, nor American. Obama thinks he is Chavez, and his ACORN friends are willing to do whatever it takes to steal elections. If you people don't take this seriously, then do NOT come back whining when it happens EVERYWHERE in November. It's not about it being Caucuses or not. It's the fact that the Obama crime machine will win by any means necessary. We were so glad people paid attention to this NOW, closer to November. Maybe everyone will become poll watchers, and get involved. I can tell you 100% positively that they WILL be out there in November, as they have been in every election like Franken, etc. They WILL try to stop us in November. Will people be "skeptical" then? By the way, Ed Morrisey has no credibility. He told me himself he had never watched any of the film when he made that comment. Figures. Hillary deserves a fair election, and she was the REASON we made the film. She filed complaints HERSELF about the fraud. If anyone paid attention, one of the letters from her lawyer is on our website. This was a mess. I wouldn't take it lightly. As organized as these ACORN assholes were, it meant they had been planning it for years. What they did was atrocious, and some of it involved physical threats to elderly people, and death threats to delegates who wouldn't change their vote. We have more of that footage being added to the film. Why would the people have made us block out their faces if they hadn't been threatened? That's AGAINST THE LAW. Gigi and I did this because we are American, not because of either of our party. And because we wanted to warn people. Consider yourselves warned and try to watch what goes on when you vote.

Of course it has to be taken seriously. Unfortunately, Obama has control now, and there won't be any independent investigations. Holder knows he wasn't hired to appoint special prosecutors.
But it is important that Democrats are becoming aware of how the Obama "campaign" operates at all levels.

Betty Sue,
One word: Paragraphs. Think about it.
As for the dems, this is what you get when you spend your time trying to game the electoral system and gin up vote fraud. Sooner or later you're going to have those same techniques used in the primary.
In obama's case the worst of the offenses came from the caucuses where they could intimidate and shout down the opposition and they could easily stuff the rooms with bogus supporters.
These allegations all were out their at the time but the MSM refused to follow the story. My question is why is this coming up now? The only answer I can reach is that this is preparing the ground for Hilary to oppose Barry in the 2012 primary.

Most sane people find clowns kind of creepy. You're never really sure what they're thinking, they usually like to suprise you and embarass you, and you're paying to be 'entertained' by them.
We're paying all right, through the nose. And the bill's far higher than anyone anticipated already. The final cost? I shudder to think.

My wife and I are taking all of this and other issues seriously. The entire system on the federal level is broken. Waste and fraud is costing citizens that pay taxes billions each year. We knew Gore's shennanigans in Florida was just the start. Then the Franken nonsense of keeping count again until he won, now we know why. I am sickened by my government. They participate in voter fraud by ignoring it, they assist illegal immigrants by ignoring the system, etc. That mindset needs to be changed dramatically.
When you have a liberal democrat stating our country is going broke or when a democrat makes a documentary about stealing elections within their own party, that is a big problem. The question: What to do? Seriously. The problem is systemic in both parties so how can the average american change it? ww

I am of the mindset that if a 3rd party candidate were viable and/or threatened the status quo and power structure in place that candidate's life and familie's would be in serious jeopardy.
I dont know how you get the entrenched filth out of power when money drive's the whole thing and they have an endless supply to lie about you, throw you in prison or worse do whatever they feel they need to do to stay in power.
If I didn't have a wife and kids I think I would challenge the system for a change. REAL HOPE and change.
