Six Month Review

It’s been a long strange journey for the last six months. In reviewing my archives I’ve found that at various points I’ve summoned creative bursts of energy resulting in long thoughtful posts.

I’ve come to the conclusion that my writing comes in waves. If you’re interested I feel a swell coming. Work, family, and other projects have diminished my available time for the last month or two. I still manage to update regularly, but some things I want to cover go unsaid for a lack of time. The tide had turned and I will have more time for writing now.

The other projects phase of my blogging life is coming to an end, at least for now. I’ve gotten this site, SportsBlog, MediaReview, and WizbangTech off the ground and running. I’m proud of the work I’ve done there. The process of building up a new site take a tremendous amount of time and energy, all of which distracts you from posting content to your own site. I’m not saying I’m never going to create a new site, but those thoughts are definitely on the back burner for a while. A personal benefit of finishing up the building phase of these sites is that I can get back to contributing to the sites, which I why I started them in the first place
