Vice President Dick Cheney and his wife Lynne, stand together, after he addressed delegates at Madison Square Garden during the Republican National Convention in New York, Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2004.
The general opinion on blogger row is the Cheney really delivered the goods this evening. Frankly I was a bit surprised by the ease with which Cheney deliver the speech. The content was fiery and persuasive. He sure set the bar pretty high for Bush.
Blogs For Bush has the transcript of the Cheney acceptance speech if you’re looking for it.
Update: Alan from Command Post catches a protester getting removed. There was a rumor floating around that the person had a gun, but I’m pretty sure that will turn out to be erroneous information. AP identifies the woman as Gail Murphy.
