Weekend Caption Contest™ Winners

This week’s Weekend Caption Contest™ really struck a chord with folks. You’ll probably notice a very popular theme this weekend running through most of the selected winners; that’s just sort of how it turned out this week. The assignment this weekend was to caption the following picture:

US President-elect Barack Obama (C) and US Vice President-elect Joe Biden (R) listen as Pennsylvania Governor Edward Rendell (L) speaks the National Governors Association annual meeting at Congress Hall in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, December 2, 2008.

Here are the winning entries:

1) (Pretzel Logic) – “Comb-Over, Push-Over and Left-Over.

2) (fustian) – “See no evil, hear no evil, speak no sense.

3) (Rodney Dill) – “(from left to right)
Wide Stance, All Stances, No pants.

4) (Jeff Medcalf) – “Winkin’, Blinkin’, and Nod.

5) (BlogDog) – “In memory of Larry, Moe and Curly, the Obama brain trust takes the names (right to left) Plugs, Sumgs and Rugs.

6) (the struggler) – Obama: “How does he get that melon through that little collar?

The Readers Choice Award this week goes to:

(jaymaster) – “Obama and Biden stare in befuddlement as Rendell ends the governor roll call count at 50.

That’s all for this weekend. A new edition of the Wizbang Weekend Caption Contest™ will debut Friday morning.
